FAQs
More FAQs- Is drying and curing the same thing?
- What is antimicrobial surface protection and why do I need it?
- Will furniture scratch floors with acrylic finish?
No. Drying means that the surface layer is no longer wet or damp to the touch. Curing, on the other hand, means that acrylic has reached its maximum hardness thereby providing the necessary protection of your flooring.
What antimicrobial surface protection offers you is greater peace of mind. The science of antimicrobial surface protection has existed since the early 1970’s. Antimicrobial surface protection is a chemical solution that, when applied, molecularly bonds to surfaces and renders that surface inhospitable to microbes, which inhibits their growth. What this means, effectively, is that surfaces stay cleaner for longer!
Furniture that is broken, in ill repair or not fitted with the proper floor protectors may damage the finish. Inspect all furniture before acrylic installation and apply proper protectors.
